Yes. I think I agree after going through all of their files and documentation it is indeed missing. I did open an issue on the matter and hope it does get attention:https://github.com/thonny/thonny/issues/1239

I provided the url above for people that have the same problem I did with the hope it really gets taken care of as an issue on github.
