Soft Reboot crashing REPL prompt/rshell unable to connect to REPL

Post by kbrenner » Tue Oct 26, 2021 3:54 pm

I am using a PYBD-SF6W with MicroPython v1.13, and I've been experiencing a soft reboot (hitting CTRL-D) causing the REPL prompt to completely crash. This is what I see on the screen:

Any other people ever see this? I am powering the Pyboard with an external power source and using a USB cable with the power/ground lines cut so the PC is not powering the device at all, simply transmitting data.

Additionally, I have installed rshell; however, it is unable to connect to REPL. Any advice?
