SF6W Firmware Update won't go past 0% Erase Phase

Post by mischko » Mon Nov 25, 2019 8:09 am

This is a Windows 10 system.
I just downloaded the latest DfuSe Demo software to flash this and used it to flash my PyBoard 1.0 and 1.1's correctly.
With my D-Series SF6W, I chose the correct firmware file (PYBD-SF6-20191125-v1.11-586-g1530fda9c.dfu) and hit the Upgrade button.
It says "Target 00: Upgrading - Erase Phase (0%)..." and there it sits.
I've tried 3 times, once with a reboot of the Windows machine in between. I've let it set for many minutes.
Nothing happens.
I can get into REPL on this SF6W and I can see the drive in File Explorer, no problem.
I pushed the USR button and held it. Then pushed the RST button and released it. Waited until the LED blinked white and released the USR button. It is now blinking red on 1 second intervals while nothing happens.
Anyone have any ideas how to get this to work?

Thanks,
Scott

Sounds like the same issue as viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6751

Maybe try Chris' suggestion to use STMcubeprogrammer, otherwise Zadig definitely worked for me (I've tried it).
