PyBorard D-Series and the Dips68 adapter board

Post by NikolaiE » Tue Mar 31, 2020 1:31 pm

Hi Guys,

i have a question about this dips68-adapter board, viewable here: https://store.micropython.org/product/WBUS-DIP68#image5
... i can not figure out, what the cpu-extra column means (pin description)

another question is, can i have the tim1_chan4 active, while the pyboard is connected to pc via usb?

Hi,

In a few instances, there are multiple CPU pins connected to the same net (this happens on the PYBD, not in the WBUS). See the PYBD schematics at https://micropython.org/resources/PYBD_ ... matics.pdf and look in the bottom-right corner of the first page for the boxes showing "Double Assigns", "Triple Assigns" etc.

The reason this is done is to bring out as many peripherals as possible in the limited pins of the WBUS connector.

Yes, I believe TIM1_CH4 is AF1 on PE14 (i.e. Y5). (In addition to PA11 which is USB DM as you've noticed).
