Is pyboard v1.1 officially discontinued?
Is pyboard v1.1 officially discontinued?
Pyboards v1.1 seem to have been out of stock at the MicroPython Store for some time now. It would be very useful to know what is planned for this version of the board. Should we expect that no new batches will be made officially? Will unofficial copies soon be the only option to get a pin-compatible board? Thanks for any info on this topic.

I would like to know the answer to that question too, but meanwhile you can still find them elsewhere. Adafruit has some in stock I think, which can also be purchased through Mouser. Digi-Key is out of stock. Sparkfun no longer carries them, which loops back to your question.

You could ask contact (at) micropython.org - and post the response.

As pythoncoder suggested I contacted micropython.org, and got the following answer:
It seems there is no deliberate decision to discontinue the PYBv1.1, which is good news I guess. We would love to manufacture more of the PYBv1.1. Unfortunately the STM32F405 is not available for a reasonable price at the moment.
The lead times are only estimates and are at 62 weeks.
I wish to tell you better news. We will keep you updated as soon as this situation changes.

Came across this earlier this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8qXp96v18g
Nice to see Lady Ada push routing 405's to Micropython to provide support.
Really would like to see the Pyb 1.1 return for purchase.
FWIW
