Can the pyboard display graphics through composite video?
Only if you are willing to leave MicroPython and go back to the Arduino IDE.
Currently, there does not appear to be a port of the Arduino Library to MicroPython.
You can search "ESP32 Composite Video" to see several Arduino/C examples.
You can also check out sites for the ESP8266 as this was one of the first examples of an ESP device generating not only composite video but broadcast composite video, later in color.
