Following the fantastic work of making
driver and
applications for the
official LCD160CR colour display, here are some photos of LCD160CR side connected to Pyboard, both inside aluminium housing (in many colours) :

The LCD160CRv1.0 will have pre-soldered right-angled female headers to plug on the side of a Pyboard.
The
MicroPython online store will have them (LCD160CR with side headers & aluminium housing with top opening) after some user documentation is ready.
Hope this teasing will be brief and we can buy the kit ASAP.

The LCD160 housing is available on MicroPython Store :
https://store.micropython.org/store/#/p ... ING-LCDB-1
note that it includes "2x 16-way right angled female header pins (for connecting to a pyboard in a housing with closed lid)".
The Pyboard compatible housing is the closed lid one :
https://store.micropython.org/store/#/p ... USING-CB-1
which includes "right-angled male headers; 2 of 16-way and 1 of 10-way (not pictured)".
So, these two housings, with the LCD160 :
https://store.micropython.org/store/#/p ... D160CRv1_0
and any Pyboard, plus some soldering, is all you need to have :

Does anyone know if the design of the cases are available? I needed the cad design and would love not to redraw everything...
