About the arranged pyboard

Post by ICHI » Thu Jun 15, 2017 3:21 pm

I will post to this forum for the first time.
I am not good at English, so please forgive me.

I am designing an arranged pyboad. (It is compatible with pyboard and works with the same firmware)
I would like to write micropython firmware (DFU file) on this arranged board and sell it as Python's learning kit.
Does such behavior not cause licensing problems?

In addition, although it is advantageous that pyboard can use REPL easily when connecting with USB, there is a doubt about the Vendor ID (V-ID) at the time of connection.
When examined by the device manager of Windows10, 0xF055 was set to Vendor ID. (I understood that 0xF055 means FOSS)

If I decide to sell the board, will the handling of V-ID mentioned above be a problem?
Please tell me if there are pages with official answers listed. Thank you.
