Be aware that these (and similar) $5.00 wiznet modules don't have mac addresses written to them, other than that they are excellent value for money !

I have 2 different designs bought 1 year apart and neither have a mac address.
This meant that the device could be connected to via TCP but could not negotiate a DHCP lease or perform dns lookups.
