pybcdc.inf installation / digital signature

Post by mariko » Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:46 am

I just got the pyboard and want to learn how to code MicroPython. But I encountered an issue to install the pyncdc.inf driver on Windows 10 pc. It failed with this message, "The third-party" INF does not contain digital signature information. I went thru various searches in Internet on how to install a driver without the digital signature. There are a couple options posted, 1) use of Windows 10 advanced restart option to disable the digital signature check 2) Go to the command prompt as an administrator and run bcdedit command. At first option, it failed due to BitLocker. Upon restartint the PC, the bitloacker is requested, but I don't have it. My PC belongs to my company and bitlocker is enabled.
The second option also failed with the message " the boot configuration data store could not be opened".
I can't move forward from this point. I have a local admin to install software onto my PC.
Can somebody have any suggestion? I appreciate it.
