Pyboard conection by PuTTY, but not as flash drive

Post by TomX95 » Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:17 pm

Hello!
My pc just stoped accepting my pyboard as a flash drive. I just get "need to format device" when i try to enter the folder that pops up.
When i open puTTY it works just fine.
My pc is windows 10, and I have used it succesfully several times before, but it did just stop working..

I did conect the board on a ubuntu pc, and it conected and i could browse the internal files right away.....

Tried to use a micro usb to run a script on.. but could not get it working. Tried several file formates fat32 and NTFS but nope...

My friend conected it to he`s windows 10 pc right away as wel....

Any thoughts?

Sorry for bad English, Norwegian without spell check...

If the board works on Ubuntu and you can see the files then you can be confident that the Pyboard and the SD card are OK.

It seems you have a problem with your PC: you need a Windows 10 expert. Which I'm not :(
