Pyboard D reviews
My "MicroPython Samples". My "MicroPython Firmwares" with many options (double precision, ulab, etc).
Re: Pyboard D reviews
It looks very nice.
It looks somewhat backwards compatible as well.
I intend to order one when available.
(Thank goodness for google translate)

The pyboard D was presented this week-end at FOSDEM Brussels, and MC-HOBBY was there too.
See https://fosdem.org/2019/schedule/event/ ... rs_python/
there is even a video.
Excellent presentation.

An impressive selection of I/O boards too. Damien has evidently been very busy indeed.

Amazing!
I'd also like to have a look, what processors will be available (especially, which chip family), etc. Where is this information accessible?
And of course, a timeline would be nice, when we can order

Re: Pyboard D reviews
Hi All,
Slightly off-topic, sorry!
I am desperate to get one of these.
I teach at an English University and am in the process of preparing a Masters-level module on IoT. This board seems to be ideal (I'm still wary of committing to an ESP, ST seem to have abandoned their wifi board [in stock, not for new designs], and WINC seems a bit long in the tooth). Being able to use Python rather than C makes the module accessible to the 'data in the cloud' set, and engineers will quickly adapt from C to Python.
Can someone email the community once these have actually become available - I need to get my hands on one.
Thanks all.
Phil
