As a matter of fact I already asked @Damien and he just installed Tapatalk a few minutes ago. Try it. :)

Tapatalk now updated to v1.2.1, which is the first stable release compatible with phpBB 3.1.

That might be referring to an older version that the one running on this forum, because I can't find the config file or config variable (allow_trending) mentioned in that article (this forum runs the phpBB 3.1 version of tapatalk). Still, it's disconcerting that they are having issues like this....

I find tapatalk useful and it's only if you use it is there any potential issue.
