just a quick note, we just registered user number 100.

Sure some of those users are inactive forever, some might be even sleeping spambots. However, it shows that we are on the way to create an active community around micro python.
The boards (if I am allow to say this) seem to be in the wild soon and from that point we should get even more activity in this forum.
@ the micropython, uC and programming veterans:
Please keep in mind micropython, by design, attracts a lot of newbies (in all ways uC resp. electronics and programming) especially by the time people start experimenting with the boards. Thus, please create a warm welcoming atmosphere and try to be helpful, even if RTFM or "Please learn the basics of python first" might be an appropriate answer.

We will try to get a user wiki up soon and with your help we hope to fill it quickly, thus, you can guide beginners to the right documentation without much effort.
To collect the upcoming discussions around the usage of the pyboard, I just created a new forum, which should contain all related posts. If necessary we can split this into sub-forums for development, general user questions, hardware, software, etc.
Lets see how it works out.
